Industrial stainless steel Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) pipe isa durable and corrosion-resistant piping solution widely used across various heavy industries for fluid transport and structural applications. It is made from stainless steel strips or coils formed and welded longitudinally using electric current.

SS 304/304L: This is the most popular industrial grade, offering good corrosion resistance, formability, and value for money. It is widely used in general engineering, water treatment, and food processing. The low-carbon variant, 304L, is often preferred for welding applications to prevent intergranular corrosion.
SS 316/316L: This grade offers superior corrosion and pitting resistance, especially in chloride-rich or acidic environments (e.g., marine, chemical processing) due to the addition of molybdenum. The 316L (low-carbon) is the common choice for welded industrial pipes in highly corrosive settings.
SS 202, 409, 430, 310, Duplex: Other grades are available for specific industrial requirements, such as 202 and 430 for less demanding applications or 310 and Duplex for high-temperature and extreme strength requirements, respectively.
