SS ERW TUBES

Stainless steel electric resistance welded ERW tubes are pipes manufactured from stainless steel strips or coils that are shaped and then joined using electric resistance welding. 

1. Coil preparation and forming: Stainless steel strips are fed through rollers, gradually forming the desired tubular shape.
2. Welding: High-frequency electric currents are applied to the edges of the strip, heating and joining them to form a strong weld without the need for filler material.
3. Seam smoothing: Excess weld material, both internal and external, is removed with trimming tools to create a smooth surface.
4. Cooling, sizing, and straightening: The tubes are cooled, sized to the desired dimensions, and straightened.
5. Finishing (optional): Further processes like heat treatment  to relieve stress and restore grain structure, and pickling to remove scale, may be applied
